Tuition and graduation

The 2009-2010 school year totals $11,844. The tuition fee includes all books and materials, including pens, pencils, paper, notebooks and art supplies.  Prepaid annual and semi-annual payments are discounted.

Nine month and twelve month payment plans are available and managed by Facts Tuition Management.

In the case of a student entering after the start of the school year, the registration fee is prorated based in the start date.

Summer school tuition is non-refundable.

Grading structure

It is essential that the education program follow the basic structure of the local public/private school systems to model the educational milieu of these systems. This modeling is most apparent in graduation requirements, credits, course title, school calendars and the grading system.

Because the educational program serves a broad spectrum of ability levels, it was found necessary to modify the standardized grading system. The current grading system integrates instructional levels to reflect more accurately the exceptional, average, and low ability student's ability to earn an "A" if he/she puts forth his/her best effort.

Failure grades are removed from a student’s transcript for courses retaken and passed at Kradwell.

An attendance/grade cap is employed at Kradwell.

Upon completion of a student’s enrollment, the student’s transcripts, academic-testing results, progress reports, and any other pertinent educational information are forwarded to the receiving educational institution.

Accreditation

Kradwell School is recognized as a private school by the Wisconsin State Department of Public Instruction and is listed in the Wisconsin School Directory under the school district of Wauwatosa.
