We believe a more concentrated and focused school day works best for the students we serve. Each student attends either the morning or afternoon program.
8:30 a.m – 11:30 a.m.
12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
There are no large-group instruction or lecture classes at Kradwell. All work is individualized, which allows students to move at their own pace. In addition, by eliminating a lot of “extras” — such as a lunch period, recess, passing periods, and stopping at lockers — students learn and accomplish more in a shorter school day than they might at a conventional school.
Students are encouraged to round out their day with outside therapy and counseling sessions, working, volunteering, and pursuing social and recreational opportunities.Download the 2017 – 18 School Calendar
Kradwell offers an optional summer school program in which high school students can earn up to 2 credits. Students may attend full-time or part-time, and choose from a variety of courses for credit recovery or enrichment.
2018 Summer Session: June 26 – August 2, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
